Popular streamer IShowSpeed continued his playful rivalry with Lionel Messi after the superstar’s brief appearance in Inter Miami’s 6-0 defeat to Al-Nassr.
The Saudi Arabian-hosted friendly, dubbed the ‘Last Dance,’ was anticipated as a showdown between Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, but Ronaldo had to withdraw due to a muscle injury, while Messi played only seven minutes.
Speed, known for his energy and showmanship, greeted Miami players before the match, including Luis Suarez, Jordi Alba, and Sergio Busquets. However, he humorously referred to Busquets as “Sergio Biscuits” during the introduction, which Busquets took in stride.
Speed saved his enthusiasm for Messi, who entered the game in the 83rd minute. The teenager stood up, booed Messi, criticized an Al-Nassr player for shaking hands with Messi, and reiterated his catchphrase, “Ronaldo better.”
Despite the heckling, Messi’s focus was on the game, which ended in a humiliating 6-0 loss for Inter Miami. Al-Nassr’s goals came from Otavio, Mohammed Maran, a hat-trick from Talisca, and an impressive long-range strike by Aymeric Laporte from his own half.
Al-Nassr will resume their league campaign against league leaders Al-Hilal, while Messi and Inter Miami have three more friendlies before their MLS opener against Real Salt Lake at the end of the month.
