Chelsea 4-2 Gent: Blues with an Easy Win as Veiga, Neto, Nkunku & Hall Score [VIDEO]

Christopher Nkunku marked his return to the France national team with a goal as Chelsea‘s rotated squad secured a 4-2 victory over Gent in the Conference League.

Earlier in the day, Nkunku was called up to the French squad for their upcoming matches against Israel and Belgium, following his recovery from a series of injuries that disrupted his first season at Stamford Bridge.

The forward continued to prove his value by scoring his seventh goal of the season, helping Enzo Maresca’s side to their fifth consecutive win across all competitions.

Chelsea took the lead in the 12th minute through Renato Veiga, and Pedro Neto extended their advantage just a minute into the second half.

Gent, however, mounted a brief comeback when Andri Gudjohnsen—son of former Chelsea striker Eidur Gudjohnsen—set up Tsuyoshi Watanabe to pull one back for the Belgian side.

Nkunku quickly responded with a goal, followed by Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, putting Chelsea comfortably ahead at 4-1.

Gent kept fighting, and Omri Gandelman scored a late consolation in the final minute, but it wasn’t enough to stop Chelsea from taking all three points.

With this win, Chelsea continues to build momentum, showcasing their depth and resilience ahead of the busy fixture schedule.
