NEWS FLASH: Luka Doncic’s Injury Status for Lakers vs Bulls

Luka Doncic’s Injury Status for Lakers vs Bulls

The Los Angeles Lakers will host the Chicago Bulls on Saturday night as the Bulls continue their five-game Western Conference road trip, facing one of their toughest challenges of the season.

Coming off a loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, the Lakers were without LeBron James, Luka Doncic, and Austin Reaves. However, heading into Saturday’s game, they may have all three players back in action.

Doncic has been listed as probable for the matchup due to a right ankle sprain. Since being traded to Los Angeles before the February deadline, he has significantly impacted the team, averaging 26.5 points, 8.8 rebounds, 8.0 assists, and 1.9 steals in 16 games—though he has already missed six contests.

Doncic is expected to return alongside James, who has been sidelined for the last seven games with a groin strain but has now been upgraded to questionable. The pairing of James and Doncic has transformed the Lakers into title contenders, making their return a key priority for the team.

While the Lakers could regain their star power, they must remain cautious against the Bulls, who have won six of their last eight games and are looking to pull off another upset.
