Grizzlies forward Brandon Clarke likely out for rest of regular season with injured knee

Grizzlies forward Brandon Clarke is expected to miss the remainder of the regular season due to a knee injury. The team provided an update on Saturday, stating that Clarke sustained a high-grade PCL sprain after falling in the first quarter of Wednesday night’s loss to Portland.

Memphis noted that a more precise recovery timeline will be determined once a treatment plan is in place.

The Grizzlies, currently on a three-game losing streak and 5-5 in their last 10 games, have dropped from second to fifth in the Western Conference standings, trailing Denver by one game. They are in the middle of a five-game road trip, with upcoming matchups against Utah on Tuesday and Oklahoma City on Thursday.

With 11 regular-season games left, Clarke has appeared in 64 games this season, ranking third on the team behind rookie Jaylen Wells (71) and Scotty Pippen Jr. (69). He is averaging 8.3 points and 5.1 rebounds in 18.9 minutes per game.
