Nigeria Football Federation boss Amaju Pinnick claims that Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze have the capability to turn out to be one of the greatest in African football.
Chukwueze played important roles as the Golden Eaglets won the 2015 FIFA U17 World Cup, he received his first call-up to the senior team in October 2018. He made his debut for the Nigerian senior team on 20 November 2018 as a starter in a 0–0 friendly draw against Uganda.
Pinnick has insisted that it is only a matter of time before he takes the African continent by storm and highlighted that he is committed at club and international level.
Speaking on Arise TV, “Chukwueze is the next big thing to come out from the continent of Africa because this players is so passionate about the game of football and his country.”
Chukwueze has featured ten times for Unai Emery’s men across all competitions this season, including three in the European tournament.
He hope to replicate his eye-catching performances for Nigeria in their Africa Cup of Nations qualifying game against Sierra Leon tommorow.
