Fielding questions from viewers, Joshua was asked who would win in a fight between Mike Tyson and Muhammad Ali in their prime.
“Should we really be comparing two legends?” the British fighter asked back before continuing. “But since you’ve asked, I truly believe Mike Tyson would have won. Reason being: When you watch the fight with Joe Frazier and Muhammad Ali, you see a certain Tyson-esque to Joe Frazier’s style. Mike Tyson used to study that … And I just believe Mike Tyson was better schooled because times have evolved, Mike Tyson was more developed, more science, more information. So I think that Mike Tyson would have won, in my humble opinion.”

Ali and Frazier fought three separate times during their careers, with Ali winning two of them. Frazier handed the legend his first loss.
Joshua’s heavyweight title defense, which was scheduled to take place in June against Kubrat Pulev, was postponed earlier this week due to the coronavirus pandemic. A new date has not yet been set.
