Bayern Munich remain interested in signing Harry Kane

Bayern Munich have not given up hope of signing Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur this summer, sources have told 90min.
The German champions have been embroiled in a public saga regarding the England captain since the summer of 2022 when manager Julian Nagelsmann first floated the idea of signing him.
This prompted fury from Spurs head coach Antonio Conte, who called the Bavarians’ pursuit ‘disrespectful’. Senior figures at Bayern have not hidden their admiration in other interviews since.
While reports in the German media have stated in recent months that Bayern felt their hopes of signing Kane were dwindling, 90min understands that he is very much still one of their main transfer targets.
Kane’s contract at Tottenham expires in the summer of 2024. Talks are ongoing over a potential new deal and Spurs are confident of their vice-captain signing on, but he is believed to be hugely frustrated with their recent dip in form having won just five of their last 12 Premier League games.
Bayern recognise luring Kane to Germany could be difficult – he is on course to break Alan Shearer’s all-time Premier League scoring record in the next few years – but the striker’s camp have still not ruled out a move abroad.
In terms of a potential transfer fee, Bayern are believed to value Kane in the same ballpark as Robert Lewandowski, who was sold to Barcelona last summer for a total package of €50m. Die Roten do recognise that Kane is younger and would cost a bit more as a result, however.
Should Kane want to remain in England, then Manchester United could be an option should they maintain their upward trajectory and qualify for the Champions League.
The Red Devils recently signed Wout Weghorst on loan from Burnley as a short-term solution to their striker woes.

Borussia Dortmund continue Marco Reus talks amid Manchester United links

Marco Reus is continuing talks with Borussia Dortmund, but his agent is assessing possible options in Europe, 90min understands.
Reus is a Dortmund legend having spent over a decade with the club after arriving from Borussia Monchengladbach in 2012.
The 33-year-old’s current deal is due to expire in the summer and talks are ongoing with Dortmund about an extension, although his agent is also talking with other clubs about a potential summer deal – one of which is understood to be Manchester United.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr have also show an interest, but Dortmund’s sporting director Sebastian Kehl remains confident he will stay.
“We are in trusting talks with the player and the agent, ” Kehl told Sky Germany this week.
“There is nothing more to say about it at the moment. We don’t let ourselves be carried away either. We know each other very, very well and have a good relationship of trust.

“We don’t need all of these media topics that we had around Moukoko for every personal detail.”
RB Leipzig were also linked with a possible interest but that was played down by their managing director Max Eberl.
“There’s nothing to it. We’re quietly thinking about summer. You have to think about free transfer players. Nothing more and nothing less is there.”

Ryan Gravenberch decides on Bayern Munich future amid Arsenal and Liverpool interest

Ryan Gravenberch wants to stay and fight for his place at Bayern Munich amid interest from multiple top Premier League clubs, 90min understands.
The 20-year-old midfielder joined the German champions from Ajax back in June but since then, he’s struggled to make an impact, failing to start a single Bundesliga game and playing just 570 minutes across all competitions.
Premier League giants Liverpool and Arsenal are understood to hold an interest in Gravenberch alongside multiple clubs from across Europe’s top leagues. A loan for the 11-time Netherlands international has been touted but 90min understands Bayern would prefer him to stay.
90min further understands that the player himself would rather remain at the Allianz Arena in order to fight for his place in Bayern’s starting XI than leave so quickly after signing.
Listen now as Scott Saunders hosts Graeme Bailey and Toby Cudworth to discuss the latest transfer news. On today’s agenda: Dusan Vlahovic, Anthony Gordon, Enzo Fernandes, Amadou Onana, Malo Gusto, Nicolo Zaniolo, Pedro Porro, Weston McKennie, Milan Skriniar, Maiximo Perrone & more!

Gravenberch’s task in breaking into Julian Nagelsmann’s starting XI has been made that much more difficult by the fine form of Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka, who have six goals and four assists between them in Bundesliga play alone this season and have the two deeper midfield spots locked down.
The young midfielder does have a goal and an assist to his name this season, but they both came in a 5-0 win over third-tier side Viktoria Koln in the DFB-Pokal back in August.
At present, Bayern are top of the Bundesliga but their lead has been cut to just three points after back-to-back draws with RB Leipzig and FC Koln. Up next for the Bavarians is a testing home clash against Eintracht Frankfurt.
