According to recent reports, Karim Benzema has refuted claims that he wants to leave Saudi club Al-Ittihad.

Earlier reports had suggested that the former Real Madrid striker was seeking a move due to feeling pressure at the club.

However, new reports indicate that Benzema has not made any such request and, in fact, desires high-caliber players to join the team. Benzema himself has dismissed the earlier claims as false.

Despite earlier rumors linking him with a potential move to the Premier League, particularly to Chelsea or Manchester United, Benzema’s current focus appears to be on improving Al-Ittihad’s squad.

These reports come amid an apparent breakdown in communication between Benzema and his current club, as he reportedly did not report back for training as expected.

Benzema has cited a cyclone affecting his holiday in Mauritius as the reason for his tardiness.
