Kylian Mbappe’s intention to leave Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) this summer has reportedly upset the club’s management.
The French striker is approaching the final year of his current contract and is prepared to let it run down if his demands are not met for a potential transfer.
However, he is open to being sold if certain conditions are fulfilled.
Mbappe would require PSG to significantly reduce their asking price, rumored to be around €200 million, to facilitate a more reasonable fee for Real Madrid and leave room to compensate him with a signing bonus.
This approach would be seen by Mbappe as a means of offsetting the loyalty bonus he would forego by leaving this summer.
Nevertheless, PSG is said to be furious with these demands, with some club directors perceiving them as verging on financial blackmail.
