BREAKING: Galatasaray in talks with Manchester United to loan Casemiro
Manchester United midfielder Casemiro could potentially depart the club in the coming weeks, with Galatasaray emerging as a possible destination, following his poor performance against Liverpool on Sunday.
During United’s 3-0 defeat at Old Trafford, Casemiro was largely responsible for the goals conceded, enduring a difficult first half that saw him make two costly errors leading to both of Luis Diaz’s opening goals. As a result, he was substituted at halftime and replaced by academy graduate Toby Collyer.
After a standout first season at United, Casemiro’s form has declined in his second campaign, with the match against Liverpool highlighting his recent struggles.
United had reportedly been open to selling the Brazilian midfielder during the summer transfer window, but no offers materialized, leading to the expectation that he would remain at Old Trafford for another season.
However, according to reports from TBR Football, there is still a possibility that Casemiro could leave the club, with Turkish giants Galatasaray showing interest in a potential loan deal.
TBR Football notes, “There is a chance Casemiro could move to Turkey in the coming weeks, and the player is aware of the situation, considering a transfer if the right option arises.”
While Fenerbahce, who recently signed Sofyan Amrabat from United, is no longer in the running for Casemiro, Galatasaray remains interested. Despite the transfer window closing in England, Turkey’s window remains open until mid-September, allowing for further negotiations.

Man City’s hearing for 115 Premier League charges to start on Monday (SEE ALL CHARGES)
The highly anticipated Premier League hearing regarding Manchester City’s 115 alleged breaches of financial fair play (FFP) regulations is set to commence on Monday, September 16.
Manchester City is accused of violating financial rules over a nine-year period from 2009 to 2018, during which the club twice edged out Liverpool for the Premier League title—in the 2013/14 and 2017/18 seasons.
The club has denied all charges, with manager Pep Guardiola previously expressing confidence in City’s innocence. Now, as reported by Sky Sports, both the Premier League and City’s legal teams will present their cases to an independent panel when the hearing begins.
Given the extensive list of allegations, the hearing is expected to last at least two months. While there is hope that a resolution will be reached by the end of this year, some speculate that the final verdict may not be announced until 2025, allowing the independent commission time to thoroughly review the evidence.
Potential Charges and Consequences
Should Manchester City be found guilty, the club could face severe penalties, including a potential points deduction. In more extreme cases, there is even the possibility of expulsion from the Premier League, though this outcome is considered unlikely. Another point of contention is whether the club could be stripped of the titles it won during the alleged period of rule-breaking.
The charges focus on over 100 alleged violations of financial fair play rules during the nine-year period, as well as City’s failure to cooperate with the Premier League’s investigation, which extended from 2018 until February 2023.
If the independent commission rules against Manchester City, the club is expected to appeal the decision, potentially prolonging the process further.
As this high-stakes case unfolds, it’s clear that the road to a final verdict will be anything but straightforward. Football fans will need to stay tuned for further developments.

‘Why I take care of myself’ – Cristiano Ronaldo on life after retirement
Cristiano Ronaldo has opened up about his future in football and shared what he will miss most when he eventually retires.
At 39 years old, Ronaldo remains one of the greatest footballers of all time, with an impressive 901 career goals to his name. The Portuguese legend has played for top clubs such as Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus, while also scoring 132 goals in 214 appearances for Portugal.
Currently, Ronaldo is playing for Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr, where he has added 62 goals and 17 assists in just 69 games. Despite his continued success, Ronaldo acknowledges that his career is nearing its end. Speaking on the Rio Ferdinand Presents podcast, he revealed the aspects of football he will miss most once he hangs up his boots.
“I’m going to miss the adrenaline of scoring a goal and that feeling of being nervous,” Ronaldo admitted. “I think I’ll miss that because in other parts of life, I can control everything. I have good people around me, good businesses, and a lot of great things. But the adrenaline of football, that’s something you can’t replicate.”
Ronaldo also shared that he’s pushing his body to the limit, saying, “I’ll give everything I can, whether it’s until 40 or 41, it doesn’t matter. I’ve dedicated 25 years to football, and physically, I can’t go much further. Age catches up with you.”
Despite his age, Ronaldo shows no signs of slowing down. Over his career, he has won 33 trophies and continues to perform at a high level. Even after a challenging Euro 2024 campaign, where he failed to score for Portugal, Ronaldo remains confident he has more to offer the game.
“This is why I take care of myself and keep working hard,” he said. “I know I can still contribute for another two or three years, but after that, I don’t want to think too far ahead. I’m focusing on the present and preparing for life beyond football.”
He also admitted that transitioning away from football will be difficult. “I’ll miss it, and I’ll probably feel a little lost.”
