Chelsea‘s recent struggles have raised concerns among fans, especially with their challenging upcoming fixtures.

Mauricio Pochettino’s team suffered their third defeat in the first six matches of the season against Aston Villa, leaving them in 14th place, nine points off the top four and just four points above the relegation zone.

Chelsea’s predicament may worsen as they enter a daunting run of games after the October international break.

They are set to face a trio of London derbies against Arsenal, Brentford, and Tottenham, followed by a matchup with Manchester City.

A visit to St James’ Park to play Newcastle awaits them, and then Pochettino’s side hosts Brighton on December 2.

The challenging schedule culminates with a trip to face Manchester United on December 6.

Fans on social media have expressed their concerns, with some fearing that relegation could become a reality.

The team’s current performance has left supporters anxious about their prospects in the upcoming fixtures.

Asked how Chelsea will fare in their upcoming matches, one fan tweeted:

“Relegation straight up.”

Another replied:

“Maximum of three points and we will come out of it with a new manager.”

A third fan also commented:

“18th place by December 7.”

Meanwhile, a rival fan added:

“Not sure they can get one point because they’re losing the next five games.”

Chelsea’s campaign this season follows their worst league finish since 1994.

Pochettino took charge of a team that had finished 12th in the Premier League the previous term.

The club underwent several managerial changes during the campaign, and their current position reflects a challenging start to the season with just one league win against winless Luton.
