Cristiano Ronaldo tempted by a return to Manchester United

Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly ‘tempted’ by the idea of returning to Manchester United during this summer’s transfer window.

The 36-year-old has been in an impressive form for the Old Lady during the 2020-21 campaign, scoring 36 goals in 44 appearances in all competitions.

The Portugal international is heavily linked with a move to France with Paris Saint-Germain, but the forward is believed to be keen on a return to the Premier League with Manchester United.

According to Tuttosport, Juve are believed to prepared for life without Ronaldo, who is ‘tempted’ by a return to Old Trafford ahead of the 2021-22 campaign.

The Portuguese represented Man United between 2003 and 2009, scoring 118 goals in 292 appearances for the English club ahead of a move to Real Madrid.


The Old Lady are thought to be exploring the possibility of a swap deal for Ronaldo involving Paul Pogba, who could be sold by the Red Devils this summer if he does not sign a new contract.
