Eric ‘Butterbean’ Esch claims he is very nearly a boxing rebound nine years after hanging up the gloves – and he has burned through no time in getting down on Jake Paul.
Butterbean, who once weighed in at a surprising 417lbs in front of a 2007 clash against Joe Siciliano, enjoyed great popularity throughout his 91-fight career, winning 77 of those experiences and 58 by knockout.

What’s more, in front of his return, he has drawn the glove to YouTuber-turned-fighter Paul for a possible standoff.
‘I’m working with DDP to get up walking and running around again and I’m feeling the best shape I ever have,’ he said on social media.
‘I’m at fight weight. You’ll have to listen to my podcast coming up to find exactly how much weight I have lost, but I haven’t weighed this in over 20 years so that’ll give you an idea.
‘The big announcement is I’m gonna fight one last fight. It’s gonna be one year from now. Jake Paul, if you’re ready, I’m here for you my friend. Let’s get it on, me and you Jake Paul.
‘I bet it would be an awesome fight. After you said what you said about me in the magazine, I’m ready to fight you. Are you ready? I don’t think so.’
President Buhari to celebrate Anthony Joshua at Aso Rock after loss to Usyk
President Muhammadu Buhari is set to celebrate English expert fighter, Anthony Joshua.
Joshua is set to get a public honor from President Buhari at the State House, Aso Rock.
The 32-year-old is set to get honor by the Federal Republic of Nigeria subsequent to experiencing consecutive misfortunes to Oleksandr Usyk in his last two battles.
Joshua a two-time former unified world heavyweight champion was born in Watford, United Kingdom, and got back to Nigeria to be brought up in Sagamu, Ogun state.
Joshua a boxing Olympic gold decoration victor with Great Britain has embraced his Nigerian roots.
At his last battle in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia the Nigerian national anthem was played with his outfit likewise mirroring the green and white.
This is not the first time Joshua will have an encounter with President Buhari. When Joshua held the WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO heavyweight boxing titles he had a meeting with Buhari.
In photos that went viral on social media, Joshua presented the belts to Buhari and even prostrated for the President.
Buhari is expected to confer Joshua with the Officer of the Federal Republic(OFR) national award.
The meeting with Buhari will happen at the State House on Tuesday, October 11.
‘One-punch knockout’ – Tyson Fury sticking with his initial prediction for Joshua vs Wilder
Tyson Fury is unyielding that Deontay Wilder would KO Anthony Joshua if they somehow managed to meet in the ring.
The WBC champion has consistently demanded his previous enemy would beat his kindred Brit, and isn’t hoping to change his expectation any time soon.
Fury has imparted the ring with Wilder three times and has complicated information on his strengths and shortcomings.
In their first memorable battle in 2018, he boxed on the back foot and felt the American’s amazing power direct as he was wrecked in the 10th and afterward emphatically stunned in round 12.
His remarkable recovery to get back to his feet before the bout was ruled a contentious draw will never be forgotten.
When they met in a rematch in 2020, it was a very different story as Fury switched tactics completely, walking Wilder down, dropping him twice and stopping him in seven rounds.
Their 2021 trilogy showdown was almost a combination of the first two fights.
Fury was aggressive once again and put Wilder down in the third, only to then be decked twice himself in the following round.
At the end of a brutal battle, the Brit downed the American for a second time in round ten before getting the KO in the eleventh.
Wilder has not fought since this defeat, but is now scheduled to return against Robert Helenius on October 15.
Joshua too is now planning a comeback after suffering his second consecutive defeat to Oleksandr Usyk and is now all set to face Fury in huge battle of Britain showdown.
But there has also been talk about a potential AJ vs Wilder showdown finally coming to fruition in 2023.
Reacting to this speculation, Fury told SecondsOut: “I’ve always said who wins that fight – Wilder.
“Soon as he hits him, one-punch knockout. See you later, bye bye.”
Wilder, though, is being eyed by Andy Ruiz Jr, who beat Luis Ortiz earlier this month and seems open to the idea.
“Deontay Wilder’s back, we’re always looking for great, exciting fights. If that’s what lies up next, I’ve gotta handle business, but after that we can get it on,” Ruiz said.
BREAKING: Leon Edwards stuns Kamaru Usman with last-minute knockout to claim world title
Leon Edwards just shocked the world. The “Rocky” story of Edwards came to life with a come-from-behind, head-kick knockout late in Round 5 of the main event of UFC 278 on Saturday night.
After becoming the first person to score a takedown on the nearly perfect champion in Round 1, Edwards struggled in the following rounds to build any kind of momentum.
Usman took over the fight with his superior wrestling and slung heavy boxing combinations and seemed on his way to yet another title defense as he neared Anderson Silva’s record for most all time.
Usman’s pace slowed in Round 5, but it was likely leading towards a unanimous decision win for the champ as Edwards seemed defeated in his corner as his team begged him to come to life in the final round.
Suddenly, Edwards flicked out a right jab and fired up a left head kick that knocked Usman out cold at 4:04 of Round 5.
