Everton 3-2 Crystal Palace Highlights

Everton pulled off a stunning second-half comeback to beat Crystal Palace 3-2 and secure their Premier League survival with a game to go.

At one point on Thursday night, the Toffees looked set to be heading to Arsenal on the final day staring relegation in the face having gone two goals down at half-time while Burnley led at Aston Villa.

But Emi Buendia’s equaliser for Villa and a magnificent turnaround at Goodison Park – albeit temporarily halted due to premature pitch invasion – meant the Toffees were save and Burnley had the goal-difference advantage over Leeds for Sunday’s final round.

At two down it was Frank Lampard’s tactical changes, plus the sheer emotion and force of a raucous crowd, that forced a dramatic change in fortune as first Michael Keane and then Richarlison, with his sixth in nine games, teed up a rousing finale.
