Former Manchester United midfielder Jesse Lingard has reportedly expressed interest in joining Barcelona.
The 31-year-old has been a free agent since leaving Nottingham Forest in June. Lingard briefly trained with Saudi Pro League side Al-Ettifaq last year but did not secure a contract.
He has since been training in Dubai while searching for a new club. According to Spanish outlet Sport, Lingard recently offered himself to Barcelona in hopes of reigniting his career.
During his time at Nottingham Forest, Lingard made 20 appearances across all competitions.
Prior to his stint at the City Ground, Lingard spent 20 years with his boyhood club, Manchester United.
