Once more antony has neglected to convey for Manchester United, for all intents and purposes vanishing during the 2-0 win against Everton at the end of the week.

Additionally, some supporters are beginning to wonder if the £85 million Brazilian is just another costly transfer error made by Glazer.

Pat Cat (via RedCafe): “3 goals and 0 assists in the league. 0 goals since early October, a drought which has spanned 14 games. Anyone pretending he isn’t a monumental flop needs to wake up and smell the coffee, incredibly average player.”

SmashedHombre: “He’s been poor, but the more worrying thing is I don’t see how he can improve overly much. Not a great dribbler, can’t use his right foot, doesn’t have great physical attributes. Very underwhelmed so far though.”

Cathy Ferguson: “I doubt he will ever reach the heights of the best RWs in the league. He will improve but his lack of pace is his Achilles heel.”

Borys: “He can improve in every way but he won’t improve in every way that would be required to make him a top attacker. This is just unrealistic to expect to improve on speed, weak foot, strength, passing/crossing.”

Nou_Camp99: “Why do we keep overpaying for players who haven’t done anything in the game? I don’t get it. £70m and upwards should be reserved for the sure thing. Paying £85m for a player who had a decent 18 month in a very poor standard league is absolutely criminal.”

UpWithRivers: “He is not good enough. Sure he might be in 1, 2, 3, 4 seasons but the question is do we just carry him for a few years? If he’s not good enough and he needs time, then he needs to be a bench player for a few years.”

Chelsea fans shocked by Thiago Silva's confirmation of Mount departure

Thiago Silva, the Chelsea defender, has seemingly hinted at Mason Mount’s departure from the club.

SportVectru understands that Mount, who has one year remaining on his contract with Chelsea, has reached personal terms with Manchester United, indicating a potential move to Old Trafford.

A social media news aggregator shared the news, capturing Thiago Silva’s attention. The Brazilian defender commented on the report using two crying emojis, which can be interpreted as an indication of Mount’s likely departure from Chelsea this summer.

Chelsea is reportedly aiming to sell Mount for a fee of £55 million in the upcoming weeks.

Chelsea appears to be open to the possibility of selling Mason Mount during the upcoming transfer window, as the club may see the departure of several homegrown players.

According to talkSPORT, Ruben Loftus-Cheek is reportedly willing to accept a reduced salary in order to secure a move to AC Milan, potentially making him another player set to leave Chelsea.

Both Mount and Loftus-Cheek were present at Stamford Bridge for Chelsea’s final Premier League match of the season, a 1-1 draw against Newcastle. Loftus-Cheek received a standing ovation from the Chelsea supporters when he was substituted in the 60th minute.

Unfortunately, Mount was not able to play in the match due to a pelvic injury, and his last appearance for the club may have been in the 2-0 Champions League second leg defeat to Real Madrid in April.

Mount displayed signs of emotion as he applauded the fans while they made their way around the pitch at Stamford Bridge, suggesting a sentimental farewell.
