Nemanja Matic has change what he has altered about Manchester United’s young players, saying young players can not produce anything for the club.
Then Matic has backed Manchester United’s pack of exciting youngsters to play a significant role in the first team squad for the rest of the season.
The selection was another sign of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s faith in youth, with seven of them having come through the academy at United, and Matic believes his manager has seen enough from the youngsters to realise they have a part to play this season.
“I think in this season the people from the club they can see who is ready to play already in a high level,” the Serbian midfielder said.
“It doesn’t matter if they are 18 or 25 or 35 we can see who is ready and who is not and who will be important for the future. I am happy for them. I like to see young players on the pitch and hopefully they can bring us some fresh energy for the rest of the season.”
