Jack Butland sends message to De Gea after completing Man United move

Manchester United have confirmed a deal to sign Crystal Palace goalkeeper Jack Butland on loan for the rest of the season.
Butland has missed most of this season with a fractured finger but since returning from injury on Boxing Day, he has found himself on the bench for the London side.
Butland speaking after he completed his move to Manchester United , he said: “This is an amazing club and one that I am now proud to represent.
“I’m really looking forward to working with an unbelievable goalkeeping group, supporting each other every day to create the best training and playing environment for the team.
“I’ve played against David de Gea and represented England alongside Tom Heaton; they are top-class ‘keepers, and I am relishing the opportunity to compete alongside and support them as team-mates.
“There is a lot that this group can achieve this season and I’m excited to play my part in helping everyone to reach these ambitions.”
Butland is likely to be second choice behind De Gea and has been brought in as Martin Dubravka’s replacement. He’s made 87 Premier League appearances in his career, recording 21 clean sheets.
