Former youth coach Louis Lancester has opened up that Jadon Sancho will make a very good impacts on three Manchester United key players in the upcoming season.

Speaking on the Stretford Paddock YouTube channel, former Watford coach said: “Firstly, Jadon Sancho going to bring goals and assists. He’s not a one-season wonder anymore, he’s proved that now.

“He’s been consistent. His numbers are off the chart. I think he’s getting one goal or assist per game. He’s making the most successful dribbles in Europe, the most entries into the box, so that’s where he is going to excel.”

“I think Jadon’s greatest quality is that he can add to other people’s games. So although you’ve spent money and signed one player, I think you’re going to get a better Bruno Fernandes, a better Paul Pogba, Edinson Cavani. That’s his greatest skillset, adding value to other people’s games.”

Sancho began his professional career at Watford and worked close by Lancaster prior to joining Manchester City at 14 years old for an underlying expense of just £66,000.

Manchester United have agreed ‘on a basic level’ with Borussia Dortmund for the 21-year-old and the exchange will go through after Euro 2020.

During his time in Germany, Sancho has scored 50 times and provided 64 assists in just 137 games, and will likely start on the right wing as soon as the new Premier League season begins.
