The ‘one player Real Madrid fear WILL be banned against Arsenal’ because ‘his case is different’ after UEFA launched investigation into the behaviour of FOUR stars
Real Madrid are reportedly worried that one of their crucial players could face a UEFA suspension for the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final against Arsenal.
The Spanish club is set to visit the Emirates next Tuesday before hosting the return fixture eight days later. However, uncertainty looms over the availability of four key players due to an ongoing UEFA investigation.
Last week, UEFA launched a probe into the actions of Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Jr, Antonio Rudiger, and Dani Ceballos following Real Madrid’s penalty shootout victory over Atletico Madrid last month.
Mbappe is under scrutiny for making an inappropriate gesture, Vinicius Jr allegedly clashed with Atletico fans, Rudiger is said to have made a throat-slitting motion, and Ceballos is accused of making an offensive gesture.
UEFA is set to announce its decision on Friday, but according to Marca, Real Madrid is particularly concerned about Rudiger’s situation. His case is reportedly seen as “different” due to the perceived threatening nature of his gesture, which was not well received.
