Panthers sign starting cornerback Jaycee Horn to record-setting contract extension

Jaycee Horn is set to remain in Charlotte for years to come. The Carolina Panthers announced Monday that they have signed the star cornerback to a four-year contract extension. Previously, Horn was slated to play under the fifth-year option of his rookie deal, valued at approximately $12.47 million for the 2024 season. However, the new agreement ensures his long-term future with the team.

According to NFL Network, Horn’s extension makes him the highest-paid cornerback in league history. Ian Rapoport reported that the contract is worth $100 million, including $70 million in guaranteed money.
