Paul Pogba recently expressed his desire to stay at Juventus and redeem himself as a footballer following an 18-month doping ban.
However, Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has made it clear that the club no longer sees Pogba in its future plans.
“Pogba was a great player, but we have different priorities now. We’ve invested in other players, and our squad is complete,” Giuntoli stated, signaling the end of Pogba’s time with the Turin-based club.
As a result, Pogba is expected to become a free agent, with reports suggesting interest from several clubs in France, including Marseille.
The French World Cup winner’s career was significantly derailed after he was handed a four-year ban for testing positive for doping.
However, his suspension was reduced to 18 months following an appeal, allowing him to potentially return to action by March 2025.
Pogba, once a key figure at Juventus, will now be looking for a fresh start after the termination of his contract with the Italian giants.
