Man United midfielder Mason Mount 'regrets leaving Chelsea'

Former Chelsea star Mason Mount may be experiencing some regret after his summer move to Manchester United.

The attacking midfielder has faced challenges in finding his best form with the Red Devils.

Mount, who departed Chelsea with just a year remaining on his contract, made a notable switch to United, donning the iconic no. 7 shirt during the offseason.

Glen Johnson, a former Chelsea and Liverpool defender, suggested that Mount might currently be feeling regret regarding his decision to join United.

“At the moment he will be.

“Manchester United are a very big football club, but you don’t join them in the expectation that you’re going to be part of a team that’s tenth in the Premier League.

“You only want to go there to challenge for major honours, and I know that Chelsea aren’t in a better position at this very moment, but you don’t move to Old Trafford in the expectation that you’re going to struggle.

“I don’t know why he decided to leave Chelsea, but I’m sure he’s questioning his decision at this very moment.”
