Talking about the predominance of Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola with their Liverpool and Man City sides in the Premier League, Erik ten Hag said: “At this time, I appreciate them both.

“They play truly fabulous football, both Liverpool and Man City. However, you generally see a time can reach a conclusion and I’m anticipating engaging with them.

“Also, I am certain the wide range of various clubs in the Premier League believe should do that.”

Man City and Liverpool both completed miles in front of Man United in the 2021/22 Premier League, completing 35 and 34 points in front of the Red Devils respectively.

Ten Hag has a tremendous work on his hand to try and get United on a similar level as the two before he can think about ending their dominance in the Premier League.

Report: Converse between Man Utd and Adrien Rabiot slow down

Adrien Rabiot’s move to Man United is at risk, according to several sources.

Fabrizio Romano claims that United still find Rabiot’s salary demands too high, so an agreement on personal terms can’t be reached.

Gianluca Di Marzio adds that the negotiations have slowed down with the Juventus player.

Besides, Rabiot remains unconvinced about Manchester United as his destination this season as they won’t play in the Champions League.

Earlier reports claimed that Rabiot’s representatives have reached an agreement over the personal terms with Man United – but such claims appear to be wide of the mark now.
