Manchester United are set to open discussions on new contracts for two key players, Kobbie Mainoo and Amad Diallo, according to Sky Sports News.

Back in August, SSN reported that securing a new deal for Mainoo was a priority, recognizing his standout performances during his breakthrough season and his increasing importance to the squad.

Although there’s no immediate rush since the young midfielder’s current contract runs until 2027—with an option to extend for an additional year and performance-based pay increases—both parties are eager to finalize the deal.

Manager Erik ten Hag, speaking to Sky Sports News, emphasized the club’s commitment to rewarding Mainoo’s progress, stating, “As a club, we value his development and are committed to continuing this journey with him.
