Man Utd’s full confirmed list of transfer ins and outs after summer budget emerges

Manchester United is gearing up for a significant summer overhaul under the new football operations leadership of Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Ineos, following their purchase of a minority stake in the club.

With the decision made to retain manager Erik ten Hag, United’s focus has shifted to the transfer window. After finishing eighth in the Premier League last season, the club is eager to strengthen the squad, though they must navigate the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR). This means United’s transfer budget could be limited to £50 million, contingent on player sales.

Several players have been linked to Old Trafford, including Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite, Wolves’ Matheus Cunha, and Bologna’s Joshua Zirkzee. Ratcliffe’s plan involves building the team around young talents like Rasmus Hojlund, Alejandro Garnacho, and Kobbie Mainoo.

The squad revamp has already begun with the release of high earners Raphael Varane and Anthony Martial after their contracts expired. Jadon Sancho, following a public dispute with Ten Hag and a loan stint at Borussia Dortmund, is also up for sale, with United seeking around £40 million for the winger.

Mason Greenwood, after a loan spell at Getafe, is set to leave the club with interest from various European teams. Other potential departures include Victor Lindelof, Christian Eriksen, and Donny van de Beek, who are all in the final year of their contracts.

As pre-season approaches next month, United aims to complete most of their transfer business early. Mirror Football provides the latest updates on all the ins and outs at Old Trafford.
