Mozambique 2-3 Nigeria: Super Eagles win first friendly match in five years (Video)

The Nigerian national football team, the Super Eagles, secured a 3-2 victory over Mozambique in a friendly match on Monday, marking their first win in a friendly game in five years. Despite the absence of Victor Osimhen, Nigeria had a noteworthy comeback in the match.
Mozambique took an early lead with Geny Catamo scoring seven minutes into the game. However, Nigeria equalized as Terem Moffi, who plays for OGC Nice, found the net from close range 13 minutes later.
Nigeria continued to dominate, and they eventually took the lead when Frank Onyeka, a player from Brentford, capitalized on a loose ball at the edge of the box, making it 2-1 for the Super Eagles.
Mozambique faced a setback as one of their players was shown a red card for a foul on Joe Aribo. Nigeria increased their lead by scoring a penalty after a Mozambican player handled Fisayo Dele-Bashiru’s free-kick. The penalty was converted by Simon Moses.
Mozambique managed to reduce the deficit with a goal from Faisal Abdul Bangal, but Nigeria maintained their lead until the end of the match.
In the second half, both teams attempted to score, and Nigeria made several changes to their lineup. Real Sociedad striker Sadiq Umar had two goals disallowed due to offside calls.
