OFFICIAL: Nigerian forward Kenneth Ikugar joins SK Sigma Olomouc

Czech Republic Premier League club SK Sigma Olomouc has reportedly bolstered their squad by signing Nigerian forward Kenneth Ikugar on a one-year contract with an option for an extension.

According to TheAthletic, Ikugar, 23, has been turning heads with his performances in the Czech Top League. After successfully passing his medical examination, the talented striker inked his deal with Sigma Olomouc, aiming to make a significant impact.

Ikugar’s journey began at the Pythagorean Academy before he made his professional debut with Ústí nad Labem in 2021. His impressive displays there led to a move to Zlín FC in January, initially on a six-month contract with a two-year extension option. At Zlín FC, Ikugar featured prominently, starting most games and contributing a goal and an assist in 14 appearances.
