Real Madrid concluded the 2022/23 season as the world’s highest-earning football club, generating an impressive revenue of €830 million, as reported by Football Benchmark.

Notably, this feat was achieved despite the club not clinching La Liga or the Champions League titles during that period, with those honors going to Barcelona and Manchester City, respectively.

Following closely behind Real Madrid, Manchester City ranked second in revenue, amassing €826 million.

Real Madrid’s remarkable financial success was attributed primarily to earnings from TV rights, merchandise sales, and ticket sales.

The inauguration of their 80,000-capacity stadium also played a significant role in boosting the club’s revenue.

The club’s robust financial position enables them to make substantial signings, such as Tchouameni and Bellingham, for fees exceeding €100 million.

Looking ahead, Real Madrid is expected to continue their financial success in the 2023/24 season, especially if they secure victories in the Champions League and La Liga, where they are considered strong contenders.
