Kylian Mbappé (25) seems to be edging closer to a move to Real Madrid.
The Spanish club has been openly pursuing the forward, and after a transfer saga spanning several years, it appears that the saga may be nearing its conclusion, according to Le Parisien.
Reports suggest that Mbappé will soon announce his decision to leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season and join Real Madrid on a free transfer.
The French captain was close to making this move in May 2022 but chose to extend his contract with PSG for another two years.
While there was hope that Mbappé might stay with PSG to lead their project and pursuit of a first Champions League trophy, it now seems unlikely as he has opted to fulfill his ambitions of becoming the world’s best player and winning the Ballon d’Or with Real Madrid.
