Revealed: How much Mino Raiola demands for Chelsea to complete Erling Haaland deal

Chelsea went into the mid year transfer market wanting to sign a striker.

Think of it as job well done concerning a club-record £97.5million expense, they have signed truly outstanding around in Romelu Lukaku who burned through no time in getting his second spell at Stamford Bridge looking flying so far with a goal against Arsenal last end of the week.

Nonetheless, the Belgium international wasn’t the lone centre-forward on Chelsea ‘s radar preceding finishing his return prior in the month.

In the midst of connections to Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski and surprisingly Tottenham’s Harry Kane, at one phase it gave the idea that the Blues planned to sign Borussia Dortmund wonderkid Erling Haaland.

Any arrangement for the Norway international would have cost Chelsea in the area of £150million – albeit holding up a year is financially beneficial as he will be available for around £70million next summer.

With that said, the west London outfit have managed to save themselves millions by signing Lukaku instead – and not just in terms of the transfer fee but in wages too.

According to Sport Bild, Mino Raiola – who is Haaland’s representative – and his requests from Chelsea to sign the striker have been uncovered and the figures are very surprising without a doubt.

It is guaranteed that Raiola was requesting €50million (£42million) each year as far as wages which works out to be generally £428,292 each week.

Although, in addition to that, Raiola reportedly demanded an agent’s fee of €40million (£34million) which would have been split evenly with Haaland’s father, Alf-Inge, as per other reports.

So taking the £150million transfer fee, the €50million (£42million) per year wages and Raiola’s €40million (£34million) agent fee into consideration, come next summer this deal would have cost Chelsea £226million had they opted to sign Haaland over Lukaku.

Keep in mind this figure would have increased when factoring in certain bonuses such as appearance fees, meeting goalscoring targets and winning trophies.
