According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona is demanding a minimum of €40m to sell Ferran Torres during the summer transfer window.
This comes after Barcelona paid €55m to acquire Ferran from Manchester City in January 2022, indicating their willingness to accept a €15m loss on the player.
It’s worth noting that Barcelona is still in the process of paying off the transfer fee in four-year installments.
In their search for a replacement for Ferran, Barcelona has set their sights on Atletico Madrid’s Yannick Carrasco. The Belgian forward is seen as a more versatile player who provides a higher level of productivity compared to Ferran.
However, Barcelona faces two challenges in their pursuit. Firstly, Ferran himself is reportedly not keen on leaving Barcelona as he enjoys life in the city.
Secondly, Barcelona has yet to receive any concrete offers for the Spanish forward, making the situation more complex.
