The Super Eagles played to a 2-2 draw against the Green Falcons of Saudi Arabia in an international friendly match. Despite Abdelelah Al-Amri’s own-goal and a fantastic strike by Kelechi Iheanacho, victory eluded the Eagles at the Estádio Municipal de Portimão in Portugal.

The match featured Victor Boniface, earning his first Super Eagles start alongside Victor Osimhen in the attack, flanked by Ademola Lookman and Samuel Chukwueze. Bruno Onyemaechi played at left-back, while Tyronne Ebuehi was on the other side of the defense. Oluwasemilogo Ajayi and Calvin Bassey played in front of Francis Uzoho, and the midfield duo consisted of Wilfred Ndidi and Alex Iwobi.

Early in the game, the Eagles displayed their talents, with Boniface creating opportunities and Osimhen coming close to scoring. Saudi Arabia also had their chances, but Uzoho made important stops.

However, Lookman missed a significant opportunity for Nigeria late in the first half when he failed to convert a pass from Chukwueze.
