Ole Gunnar Solskjaer lamented his “passive” Manchester United players after a 2-0 derby defeat to Manchester City.
Solskjaer speaking on Sky Sports: “We started badly, passive, and then they get the first goal.”

“It was always going to be difficult anyway but being 1-0 down was hard. David kept us in the game with some good saves and then they scored a goal they always score. Cancelo cuts inside… we know that’s going to happen and it shouldn’t happen.
“[City] played well, of course they don’t give you opportunities to win the ball off them so some praise must go to them. But we were not at our level, and standards need to be raised.
“We still don’t trust ourselves with the ball, we don’t pass the ball as well as I know we can, we don’t find the angles. Sometimes that is the team you play against but we sometimes made the wrong solution, sometimes the right solution with bad execution.”
