Son of Barcelona legend signs first professional contract with Blaugrana

Patrick Kluivert’s son, Shane, has taken a significant step in his football career by signing his first professional contract with Barcelona.

Shane, who celebrated his 16th birthday recently, became eligible to sign a professional deal with the club.

Shane Kluivert is a left winger and is currently part of Barcelona’s U18 team. He also represents the Netherlands’ youth national team, showcasing his talent on the international stage.

Seven years ago, at the age of nine, Shane made a move from Paris Saint-Germain’s academy to join Barcelona, where he has been developing his skills.

Notably, Shane has three half-brothers, all of whom are involved in professional football. The most successful among them is Justin Kluivert, who plays in the Premier League for Bournemouth.

Patrick Kluivert, a former football star himself, had a remarkable career with Barcelona. He made 257 appearances for the club, scoring 122 goals and providing 60 assists.

During his time at Barcelona, he won a La Liga title, contributing significantly to the club’s success. Now, his son Shane looks set to follow in his footsteps and make his own mark in the football world.
