Thomas Tuchel wants long term deal with Chelsea

Chelsea boss, Thomas Tuchel has revealed his intentions to sign a new deal with the Blues.Tuchel has made quite some achievement since he replaced Frank Lampard in January.

The German boss helped Chelsea moved from ninth spot to finish in Premier League top four, he also guided the Blues to the FA Cup final where they lost to Leicester City.

He has also guided them to the Champions League final and helped the Blues claimed their second trophy in the tournament with a 1-0 win over Manchester City.

While speaking ahead of the game vs. Man City in Porto, Tuchel confirmed his intentions to stay at Stamford Bridge beyond the end of 2022-23 when his current contract is set to expire.

“This is very easy [to answer],” he said when asked about signing a new deal.

“I’m just so happy to be here.“I have never felt so good since I was in Mainz and this feels like the perfect place and the perfect moment.

“I’m so happy to be here, so whatever will come will come. We cannot force things, but, of course, this is my point of view and this is very clear.”
