The agent of Donny van de Beek has taken a swipe at Manchester United, claiming the club blocked a transfer for the Netherlands international.
Van de Beek has struggled since moving to the club from Ajax last year, failing to establish himself as a regular in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s starting line-up.

That has led to plenty of frustrations across the board, with former United striker Dimitar Berbatov dubbing the deal as one of the worst transfers ever.
An exit has been touted and, speaking on Deadline Day, the midfielder’s agent, Guido Albers, expressed disappointment that a transfer could not be completed.
“There was a lot of interest from Italy, Germany, England, so that looked good. But you need co-operation of the club, and it looked like they would, but ultimately they didn’t,” he told Voetbal International.
“Disappointed, but also assuring for him, so that he will get his chance, and will get his minutes, but this will become clear in due time.
“He’s been promised that before, but we came to a clear agreement about this with the club, so we have all faith that it will happen now.”
