Angry Marseille fans set fire to a building at the club’s training ground as they continued their protests over the club’s recent downturn in form.
The protests took place just hours before the team were supposed to host Rennes on Saturday in a game that has now been postponed by the Ligue 1 authorities.
Fans were seen throwing flares and trying to force their way into the training complex before appearing to run away after a building caught fire.

The latest incident comes nine days after fans turned on the players at Stade Velodrome before a home game against Lens, which Marseille lost 1-0 – it’s fourth straight defeat in all competitions.
